Sharp Vision Optic Power Meter is used for measurement of Absolute and Relative Optic Power Levels of Single Mode and Multi Mode Optical Signal in the Wavelength of 850nm, 1310nm & 1550nm in CATV, LAN and Wide Area Network.
Sharp Vision Optic Power Meter utilizes High Sensitive InGaAs Photodiode and a microcontroller for processing the optic power for accurate measurement. It incorporates monolithic logarithmic detection circuit with bipolar transistors with matched isothermal properties to reduce inaccuracies to insignificant proportions designed for RF Applications.
There is a large LCD Display of Optic Level, Wave Length, Battery status, Absolute Measurement dBm / mW / µW and Relative Measurement in dB.
The Micro Controller not only takes care average measurement over appropriate intervals, but also,
- Takes command from front panel keys
- Takes care of change of scale as per input optic level
- Checks Battery level status – It senses the voltage of Battery and switches off the meter if the battery charge is low or Meter is not used for 5 minutes.
